Code of Conduct

Rules must be read and agreed to be adhered to prior to gaining access to the Telegram, and all rules must be followed to remain eligible for both Telegram and the Discord communities.

Rules and RegulationsOnce you have read the rules you can message @furries\_of\_maryland\_bot / join and you'll be asked the passcode.Upon joining the FoMD Chat, you can leave the lobby.

1. This is a 16+ chat.
- All images must be safe to view at school or in public.
- Nothing photographs or images showing an excessive amount of skin is allowed.2. Please keep discussion civil. No hate speech/slurs or instigating.
Discussion of politics and any religion is banned in the chatroom. Any discussion risks a warning from the moderation team.3. In this chat no one is certified to provide any medical or any legal advice and we are not licensed Therapists.
Please refrain from posting any life drama in this chat or petty disputes you have with someone else. No bewares unless you run it by the moderation team. If you're having a medical issue please consult your primary care physician or go to an urgent care.4. Room content is PG-13 - Media must be kept PG.
If you wouldn't show it to a random minor in a grocery store don't send it here. Don't discuss anything illegal or post anything unsuitable for viewing by minors. The moderation team has the discretion of what is and what isn't appropriate for the chat.Additionally:
- No underage, babyfur, or similar media.
- No excessive violence, gore, etc.5. FoMD does not permit roleplaying in the community chat, or treating the platform as a dating service.
If anyone on here is harassing you in PMs, please let the moderation team know. Screencaps are helpful, and hard evidence is required for claims of harassment or other breaches of our code of conduct.Additionally:
- Do not behave inappropriately with minors under the age of 18.6. Please do not repeatedly post messages, flood the chat, or otherwise rapidly post messages. Telegram bots will attempt to translate voice messages to text for accessibility, please keep them short and coherent.7. Do not advertise without approval from the moderation team.
Limited exceptions are for planned events and showcasing art. The moderation team has discretion in whether or not to allow a proposed advertisement.8. Don't necro drama/arguments.
If the chat has moved on/calmed down, leave it that way.9. Keep it legal - Don’t text and drive, don’t threaten others or yourself (suicide), don’t post about illicit substances (or underage use of licit substances), don’t post adult content where it doesn’t belong, don’t post pirated content.
